I couldn't stand the smell of lime for six years after said incident. And the lime was a fairly innocent part of it all. So it's just a big nope

But, I did 594 kms to a tank last time in my car. And when I topped up yesterday evening it took 46 litres.

So I think that is a smidge over 10 gallons ??

Which means that the car is doing approx 59kms to a gallon ??? Sounds a bit better than 36 mpg but still I'm still pretty happy with that for a little 1.5 engine!!

And that includes going up and down the mountain every day which definitely challenges the consumption - I doubt that the gentle drive down (depending on how much of a hurry I'm in) will ever make up for the stick it gets going up cos I'm rarely thinking about fuel consumption when going home

My local boozer had a Tequila List that had 87 options about 20 years ago. It started cheap & went up to $36/shot. You could get a three-shot taster of the cheap stuff for $10

You should look into getting it Mapped, more power (which you don't want, but is nice) and better mpg. My 1.5 diesel duster now has 145 ish bhp and easy 40 or even 50 mpg!

You should look into getting it Mapped, more power (which you don't want, but is nice) and better mpg. My 1.5 diesel duster now has 145 ish bhp and easy 40 or even 50 mpg!

TBF, driving NOT up and down the mountain it's actually quite impressive on MPG. But I was silly happy to still get 36mpg when that included up and down the mountain every day

Not sure its financially worth mapping ? Especially in France ??

You can't do that with the EML anymore, the tester is supposed to check that it illuminates for a second before going out.

On bikes the ABS light doesn't go out until the ECU has a reading from both sensors, which means travelling a short distance, which doesn't happen during a MOT.

You can't do that with the EML anymore, the tester is supposed to check that it illuminates for a second before going out.

On bikes the ABS light doesn't go out until the ECU has a reading from both sensors, which means travelling a short distance, which doesn't happen during a MOT.

Thankfully i have never had a major EML issue. The odd occasion it did come on i have an OBD link cable for my phone and FORscan software installed. The ABS was an optional extra as my bus is an 03. Think compulsory in 05 so the examiner probably never gave it another thought. Same guy that failed it with an ABS light two years ago as well. Thankfully he does not look at old MOT's
