Wifey took a Lexus LBX for a spin while I'd sat in the back (salesman in the front). We swapped over half way round the test route, I couldn't get in. Even with the drivers seat in the lowest position the steering wheel was way too low, and no boot light. I tried the next model up when we got back to the showroom, the same dreadful driving position.

We walked over to the Toyota showroom next door and sat in the Yaris Cross on which the Lexus is based, plenty of room and a boot light. She'll take one of those for a spin next.

I did see it, but a bit blurred.

My eyes still meet DVLA standards but it is getting worse. Time to fix it before I have to pack in biking.

If you're in the market for a Yaris, compare prices with the Mazda 2 (which is a Yaris). Mazda are supposed to have rather a lot to shift I believe. (No Cross version though, sadly).

I’m a couple of weeks ahead of you - end of June for my first.

My biggest issue is reading reflective road signs at night. The reflection often obliterates the letters, which isn’t great in a strange area when you’re trying to choose a lane before a roundabout.

It might be fairly good rapid fire at 50 yards with a sloppy Colt Govt 45 , but pants slow fire at 20 with a target pistol.
Some old Smith & Wesson .40 M&P. 50ft or so. Finished class today, got 100% :)

Some may call me 'tight', I call it being frugal. 8-)

*Obviously I don't let my other dusters know I have a favourite. That would just be weird.

My old Merc was in need of an MOT and yearly service. I've used the same spanner monkeys for years.
Me: 'In for MOT and service'
Him: 'I'll MOT it, but I ain't wasting your money servicing it after less than 500 miles'
Fair enough.

But 12 miles?!

Housework, dog walk and then took a radiator off the wall in the Outlaws living room so that Mrs M can paint the wall for them on Monday. Not helped by the FiL being in best "only me, you don't want to be doing it like that" mode🤬.

Got home and installed my Air Quality sensor for my weather station, its indoors at the moment whilst I figure out if I can run it on a power bank out side or if I can sneak the power lead out of a window frame and mount it on a wall outside.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Hooked a toe in my underoos while getting dressed this morning & fell like a tree... luckily onto my bed.

Developed a new health issue, apparently it's metatarsalgia. Not constant, comes & goes through the day. Bugger.

Spring cleaning. Stopped for a break & heard 15-20 shots coming from somewhere within a mile of the house.

Given the holes in the 8 circle I can see I'm moving the barrel to the left when I hit the noise button. Just need to move the contact point of my finger on the trigger a smidge.

Yesterday I drank a pint of beer. My first in years, might go back today for another.

A passable ESB, but it's no Fullers.... or Gales HSB, the finest beer on the planet.
