I received a PCN through the post for daring to park in the office car park. It looks like the office landlord hasn’t uploaded the parking log to their parking management company, yet again!

This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues, last month, I ended up paying for parking automatically via the Hozah app when the landlord should have entered my reg into the parking system and voided the charge.

My office manager is dealing with the problem, it sounds like she is hacked off with the landlord / parking co as this keeps happening, for me and others.

The wife's new car. It has an auto-off handbrake (good) but it won't go if you haven't got your seat belts on and the drivers door closed. I often reverse close to a wall by opening the door and counting say 3 blocks on the door edge. Mr f'ing Honda says "No".

Hit 'em with a 'cultural appropriation' campaign (insisting that only Maoris in a squad may perform it).

The England team should do a Morris dance.

Or recite Incy Wincy Spider with the appropriate actions:

I went to a touristy shop in Bath the other week cos I wanted a coronation mug for when I move to the one bed place I hope to get!! Only cos I want to serve my French his coffee in a Brit King mug!!

Bit that boiled my piss? As we were leaving the shop we had a look at some teapots in the window - some really wierd, unusual and kinda cool ones. One appealed muchly.

After I'd done my important shopping, we went back to the touristy place and I said I'd like to buy the Golden Syrup Teapot. As we were chatting about stuff the girl was checking a list, and then told me the price -

£85.00

I had to get her to repeat it three times to make sure I understood!!

It's a fucking teapot!!!!

I went out without the teapot and my mate asked why I didn't buy it?

- It's too expensive.

- I thought it'd be £30-£40

- Nope - I was willing to go to £50, but it's more!

When I told my mate it was £85 he nearly had heart failure as well! So back at their place we checked online - nope, that's not the tourist price, that is the price online as well :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:

What's daft to me (probably why I'm not a business woman) is that if the teapot was £50 I'd have bought it and gone back next visit for the Marmite one!! Instead, they won't sell any to me :(

Even though it's pretty cool, how can this possibly be worth £85 ????

Google says that’s a cheap one, they are all £89 upwards😂😂
There’s one on eBay for about £45.
I’m no help at all really!

The old explanation innit. If people buy em for £89 they're worth £89.
