I got given this end can today. I have never seen a connection to the link pipe like this, Does the link pipe just slip on and held in place with the springs? Does not look like it would be a good seal if so.

Looks to me as if the cone inlet end would fit into a corresponding cone on the collector and, as you say, be held in place with springs.

It looks truly awful, it also looks like it has a reducer cone in the inlet

Apparently the cone is a reducer and pushed in. That comes out and im looking for a 51mm link pipe to fit my Black Widow downpipes. Probably will have to weld on loop for the springs to grab also

Its a Fazer 600 and going into a Black widow exhaust downpipes. I need to find my digital callipers to measure the downpipe O/D before i can order anything.

It looks like a Remus hypercone

Black Widow link pipe had to be 51.5mm O/D. Looks like it will all fist straight on as well. 51mm pipe ordered but i may have to weld on two spring hooks
