The first time I saw an MT10 in a dealers is scared the crap out of me. It looked like it was about to stand up on its hind legs in attack mode. Hideous. Too many sharp bits.

Rev Fred had one for trackdays and hooning last year, IIRC he said it was great. I had a quick go on it and it was like riding a jet powered BMX.
I rode Trickys and absolutely loved it... But it does have downsides of being crazy fast and £2000 more than my bike...
Well it is Christmas...

Well...I've never heard " downsides " and " too fast " in the same sentence before. You can only ride as fast as the rode allows. 😁👍

Yup, sometimes the road allows 140mph, the law has different ideas though.

I just explain,"it's a naked bike officer,I may briefly do a silly speed,but don't worry I can't sustain it".

Works every time. Fact.

Oh no, you can ride much faster than the road allows...

Nice and tidy 8-)

I prefer a quieter bike these days so the de-cat puts me off.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't like it at all, but it looks like Yamaha spent 98% of their energy over designing the front end and then ran out of steam and just lashed a cheap bench seat on it to get it through the MOT.

With a decent back end that would look great.

For me they are lie a lot of bikes, they look much better IRL. I parked next to one the other day and as I pulled up it really struck me with its looks. Proper stand out from other bikes look about it. Too expensive and too powerful for me, but if i had any money and riding talent, i'd have one in a heartbeat!

If riding talent was a requirement for bike ownership, there'd be a hell of a lot less bikes on the road! Folk buy bikes 'cause they want them and rightly so,who cares what others think.

I'ma danger to myself on big bikes. Something to do with enthusiasm overtaking ability! So I tend to avoid buying them now having nearly embedded myself in immovable structures on previous big bikes!

I think I'm a bigger twat on a little bike, because momentum is precious and I'm reluctant to give it up.
