Got one of these things for my karcher. Its really good and a lot easier to clean under the arches etc. The varying degree spray nozzles are good, but you have to be careful with the fine jet spray though.

Make sure when you change nozzle you give it a quick test spray, making sure the nozzle is fully on, pointing at something other than your car*

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
I point mine at the ground or the garden wall ever since I sent one that wasn't fully seated into a neighbors yard across the street... It went a lot further than I thought possible.Mr. Dazzle wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 2:28 pm Make sure when you change nozzle you give it a quick test spray, making sure the nozzle is fully on, pointing at something other than your car*

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
On the way to Havasu on Friday one of the chrome lugnut caps on the F350 went AWOL.
Amazon showed what appeared to be the right one, but the size was wrong. I guessed they meant 1.60in when they posted 1.06in.
I ordered one, it showed up & was the right size.
Decided to order a few spares to have on hand. Clicked on 5... total was $38...
but for just $2 more I could get a box of 10...
So now I have 10 spares on the way.
When I fitted the new one it didn't want to clip in place so I gave it a tap with a rubber deadblow mallet. Went round the other 15 on the front & several weren't seated all the way. They are now.
May get ambitious tomorrow & check the 16 on the rear wheels too...

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Nipped up to J&S at the end of the day to buy the Knox chest protector that fits in the mesh shirt I've got of theirs.
Hardly knew it was there on the way back. 24 degrees on the dash and the cooling is still excellent with the added advantage of - and I apologise in advance - not having to see my nips in the mirrors. The shirt really does do a good job of letting air in!

The Ninja Slushie. Tried it last night with a blood orange margarita.
It’s quiet. Takes about 30-40 minutes depending on what type of drink you’re going for. A pleasing purchase.
Two days ago I got one of their ‘3 in 1 Handi blender’ things. Made homemade pesto ( how much are pine nuts!!). Also a pleasing purchase. (Not the pine nuts. Fuck sake)

I have procured for myself, at a very reasonable price, a Hermon Miller office chair. I'm so comfortable right now - getting all the support.

For that price I'd want it to do my work and make me a cuppa, nevermind be comfortable.Trinity765 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:29 am I have procured for myself, at a very reasonable price, a Hermon Miller office chair. I'm so comfortable right now - getting all the support.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
I blagged one many years back, and through many office refurbs, I have clung onto it through thick and thin, much to the annoyance of the facilities guys, who have now simply given up. Proper nice chairs.Trinity765 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:43 amI didn't and wouldn't pay that priceKungFooBob wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:41 amFor that price I'd want it to do my work and make me a cuppa, nevermind be comfortable.Trinity765 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:29 am I have procured for myself, at a very reasonable price, a Hermon Miller office chair. I have a work-supplied uppy-downy desk at home as well, along with standard issue office chair. I did think about requesting a Herman Miller for home, but thought the better of it.

The most comfortable office chair I've ever used. Well done!

To be honest, after the lack of a follow up to the global success of Abracadabra, he had to find another line of work. He's done well with the chairs.Trinity765 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:43 amI didn't and wouldn't pay that priceKungFooBob wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:41 amFor that price I'd want it to do my work and make me a cuppa, nevermind be comfortable.Trinity765 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:29 am I have procured for myself, at a very reasonable price, a Hermon Miller office chair. She's allowed to keep her two 20" monitors, keyboard, mouse and laptop, but she has to give her chair back because "they're really expensive"

Exactly the same where I work. We must have 1,000 HM chairs and you can take all the pc peripherals you like, but someone is signing for the HM chair.Mr. Dazzle wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 10:08 amMrs. D is currently changing jobs and is giving back all her WFH gear.Trinity765 wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:43 amI didn't and wouldn't pay that priceKungFooBob wrote: Tue Apr 15, 2025 8:41 am

I got mine from an office furniture clearance company and had to join a waitlist. I paid £100 and it's in fair condition.
Apart from the fact that they are fully adjustable, I like the mesh (instead of fabric) which stays clean.

They are not Gluten Free so stick them where the sun dont shine
Saying that i was in Ikea yesterday and had hot dogs with no buns and chips. They must have been the best hot dogs i have tasted. I ended up buying more. Wife waited until we were in the car to tell me they sell them frozen. I could have been home with a pile FFS

When we lived closer to Ikea we got them meatballs quite regularly. Think we just sickened ourselves off them to the stage i never want them again.MrLongbeard wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 12:43 amI have a bag of them in the freezer, along with 2 bags of meatballs![]()
