Used to like the tubs of centre pull wipes they used to sell. Good for cleaning everything. They stopped doing them.

That boils my piss a bit.

That's a bit girly. Petrol cleans everything and leaves a manly smell 8-)

Evri have messed up again. They have my delivery of car parts, some of which they delivered yesterday with no issues in finding my address. Today, nope, cannot find you. And this is the expensive part of the delivery with the shocks, springs etc... and calm down. NO calling for lightning, floods or plagues on Evri drivers.

We had box 1 of 2 delivered by the Evri knock and run man.

Box 2 of 2 was delivered 2 days later... Probably by the same guy, i have no idea, i didn't see him.

Meter readers that can't read meters.

My estimated water bill for 25/26 just came in (and the DD adjusted accordingly) at 500% of last year. DD adjusted from £26/month to £130/month. Dig around on-line to find this is based on an actual reading. So, out I go to peer into the hole in the pavement.

They said 2497, my eyes say 2417. Just a slight difference of 80,000 litres....

When I was involved in this metering lark we had some pretty spiffing 'anomalous reading' routines that would have set the 'what a load of bollocks' alarms going. Clearly TWat don't apply any such thing to their own readings.

But they certainly did when I submitted my reading on-line. 'This reading doesn't look right'. I eventually hammered it into their system.

I know they have a cash problem but I'd rather they borrowed it from someone else. :angry-cussingblack:

No update on the system for when delivery will happen and no chance of speaking to a human. The AI automated system is going around in circles.

A lazy trainee with a huge sense of entitlement, who huffs and puffs every-time he’s asked to do something, won’t listen as he thinks we’re nagging him and won’t get the books out to learn. It’s like working with a 39 year old “Kevin the teenager”.

He’s going to be very busy tonight.

I was at the post office today sending a parcel back for a refund. I was given the option of Parceforce at £9.60 or Evri at £.......... Parcelforce please before she could even finish. I have started to look at who the sellers are using now and unless i have no choice if i see Evri i find another seller.
I find it a bit off that the Post Office is now trying to offer them also

One lost and one damaged. Latest driver is a lazy bastard but my main issue was posting. Late, Damaged or returned to many times. Returns were always cant find address yet i can find it on street view. Paid for Next day delivery twice and both occasions took three days. Nah, ill stick with the post or Parcelforce for sending from now on. The bastards are now delivering for Amazon and Yodel when they are to busy

Ours seems OK too. It's been the same woman for a while but they did seem to chop and change local staff for a while.

I did try to avoid ordering stuff if it was apparent that Evri was involved but not so much now.

What annoys me is that they delivered the "cheap" box of stuff on Monday with no issues at all, but the expensive needed by Tuesday stuff, nope, can't find your house. Still no contact from them and no way past the automated AI bots. I used to run a HelpDesk system, this is top level evil Evri are running.

Have you contacted the supplier? They sometimes have better access to human contacts (or better tracking) than us poor buyers.

Again, AI bots that don't get you through to a human. Based in Germany, I know a bit of Dutch, but my German is not at conversational levels. Bavarian Motorwerkundestanistan something or another....

The same AI bot may well understand English, worth a try.

In no particular order:

Rupert the Bear - smug fucking do-gooder.

Kumquats - seriously? What's the point of them?

Limbo dancers - going under a bar IS NOT dancing.

Cirque du Solei - ignore the hype, it's just a circus, ergo it's shit.

Builders - if you quote me a price and I reply, 'Great. When can you start?', maybe replying back would be a good idea*

The Outhere Brothers - for writing that tune back in 1994 that goes 'Boom, boom, boom...everybody say way-o!' that is currently stuck in my head.**

*About 6 weeks and counting. Guess what I'll be telling him if he does ever decide to call back.

** More annoying was that when I sang it to Mrs. G at 6.15 this morning she refused to join in with the following 'Way-O!' at the appropriate point.
