Hmmm. The Magelys (Iveco) doesn't have a gear selector as such - just three buttons, D N & R .

I did find out on Sunday that if you hold the D or R button for 2 seconds, then you get a 'slow' version of drive or reverse. But there's no L button :? :?

(Not sure if I'm completely missing a joke here!!! I'm still a bit tired!!!)

Today I had a very long lie in - bloody lush it was too

Then physio, then coffee and a sarnie out with a Rum coffee for 'pudding' !!!

Now chilling as I have to leave at 00:30 to start work at 01:15 !!

But the bonus is that the seasonnaire line has changed and dropped one pick up point - the most difficult one for me in the manual vehicle :bblonde: :bblonde:

Tracked my iPhone and it’s moved from Manchester to Gatwick.

So it’s either still on the plane or someone picked it up and flown there. Isn’t it crazy how technology works these days.

Just finished my mandatory exams for the new jobs, pass mark on each was 70%:

Protection - 100%
Regulation and Ethics - 95% - there is a steward’s enquiry on the one I got wrong as the reference material linked to two possible responses
Inheritance Tax - 100%
Savings & Investments - 100%
Pensions - 100%

One dropped mark over a total of 110 questions which I’m chuffed over. Now onto reading documents / preparing for role play sessions…

Well much to my surprise they found it.

I reckon the plane had a cursory clean at Manchester, flown to Gatwick then was properly cleaned there where it was found.

45 quid to get it back tho

Dog walk at my favourite Cornish beach. Dogs (and Me) were a bit intimidated by the grumpy goats as we were leaving. A couple were fighting and they were properly head butting each other!!

"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Last day in the lab today with people I've worked 20+ years with, they've been made redundant and I switch to full time WFH, very strange times.

I retired in July 2020 and my 'leaving do' was a Zoom call. No chance to get pissed and talk shite with workmates, just a shuffle off into pottering-about-in-sheds-land...

Had my car serviced and MoT'd. Happy bunny with a mere £500 bill. Good job there was nothing wrong with it. :hmmm:

Got a courtesy car. It was almost brand new. Lots of electronic wizardry but it had this funny lever between the passenger and drivers seat. I believe it's something that they used to pull to stop the car rolling away when parked in olden times.

Out on the bikes most of the day,16°C dry and sunny, you'd hardly think it was March.

I hope this isn't our Summer.... :silent:
