A Scooby flat four sounds like someone left one of the plug caps off.

Yeah it was great, until about 2003 when they made the exhausts symmetrical and removed that effect :(

Porsche got there first anyway!

Did the landy tyres last week. Same tyres have been on it from new- so 30 years. They were cracking and one had developed a slow puncture.

Landy has done just over 80k miles.
Good grief :wtf:

It's a good job it was too old to require an MoT test. :D

(I would not have been happy loading that up with family and gear and going, well, anywhere!).
still needs MOT. 40 years for non-commercial vehicles

Ah. I'd forgotten quite how old mine was*. :D

Surprised the MoT test didn't pick up on th tyres if they were denaturing/cracking though.

* Series 2 LWB petrol. that spent its early years in a non-corrosive environment somewhere in Africa.

Turned the power off between East Croydon and Penge due to a drunk hanging off a bridge at 0130 this morning …..

well, yes!! But this is an organised event before the lifts open. They won't run it in poor visibility. Which is good for me!!

Well, bad as well, but I won't go out in shit viz for the moment!!

Woke up at 2 am this morning shaking like a shitting dog. Then I ran to the toilet to find someone had put a Karcher up my backside. Eventually got off the toilet and was back to being very cold again. So much so I went to bed with joggers, t-shirt, dressing gown and a beanie hat on! :wtf: Got up for another round of the same earlier and then went back to bed and have just got up! WTaF! Now I'm still cold, but not as bad, but I have the mother of all hangover headaches and i havent even had a drink. :wtf: So now i feel very cheated on top of everything else!

No traffic, did it in an hour each way... & that included a detour on the home run as the freeway was closed for the last 5 miles :)

Now I'm home alone & unsupervised until March 13th :)

Hmmm....26th Feb pm, 'dirty doner'...28th Feb doing an impersonation of a ping-pong ball on a fountain in a fairground shooting gallery. :hmmm: Bit of a slow reaction time in the guttywuts department!

(Sounds like classic norovirus symptoms though).

Just checked roomies flight progress...

Flight one was LAX to Denver which left here at 5.25am (PST) & got to Denver at 9am MST (8am PST)

2nd flight is from Denver to Littlerock Arkansas... The aircraft she's waiting on at Denver left Longbeach at 6.50am (PST), gets into Denver at 10am & then leaves there for Littlerock at 11 (MST), gets to Littlerock at 2pm CST (Noon here).

Could have dropped her off at Longbeach to start with.. & avoided a 2hour wait at Denver... FFS

Car serviced and MOT, rang me up half an hour after I dropped it off, needed pads all round too.

That's me skint now.
