Hi, All,

I'm an ex-track-dayer with plenty of touring experience gained while following MotoGp (Rossi).

Bikes I've had since 2000: Honda Blackbird (current), ZZR1400, GXR750, R15VY.

We’re looking at flying out to Portimao for the World Superbikes round, 28-30 March. It will be our first visit there, so if you’ve “been and seen”, any pointers on the best stand to be in would be gratefully accepted.

TIA

Welcome, i've only been there to ride so can't offer any info on where to spectate, but for me the last turn downhill onto start finish is likely to be awesome as it turn 2-3 where there's likely to be the overtakes.

I've ridden there twice recently and I'd watch at 2 and/or 6.

I'm hoping to go again in October :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Thanks for your replies, fellas.

Weeksy and Yorick... I envy you - I've only done days in the UK.

...Skub: all the pix you need for now, you'll find at https://dadoodles.com/

...I'll post some on here when we get back from Portimao! :D

Meanwhile, I'll keep on hoping that someone who's been as a spectator could post up on their experiences at the track.

Thanks again, you guys.

I just quoted the likely overtaking spots. They're the places I always watch at any circuit.
