Thats a decent price and almost brand new. I'd be looking at it for sure.

Hi
I have a MY19 Factory Black with full race ecu and Akro pipe and lots of carbon. Bought it July 20.
For a street fighter it’s still quite sporty riding position and I’ve had 30mm risers fitted which makes it more upright.
All I can say is that it makes me laugh out loud in my helmet every time I ride it.
The engine and noise is just phenomenal and the handling is superb.
It feels so safe to ride quickly because it’s so much better than I am that’s it always feels it’s within its limits.
I just love to ride it and what more do you want?
Downsides-limited tank range, poor fuel consumption maybe(35-40mpg) but if that’s what you want you wouldn’t buy one of these.
Wouldn’t want to commute on it but hey........
First service was £145 and a recall on front brake pads was done whilst this was done.
No other issues so far.
Maybe do a track day next year to move my confidence on a bit.
For more sensible (?) touring duties I also am lucky enough to have a KTM SDGT which is also fantastic but a very different bike. Still vey quick point to point, luggage capability, 220mile tank range and approx 55mpg but still handles like a sports bike.
It just doesn’t feel as ballistic as the Tuono
Can’t think of anything else really

Hi again maybe a bit more now I’ve slept on it
Demoed a 2010 V4 1000R back-in the day and loved it but couldn’t afford one.
Had a Gen1 Tuono for 12 years and did a bit of everything on it including a trip to Monza in 2008 and long weekends in Scotland and Wales. Swapped this for a2012 Speed Triple R but never really gelled with it.
Coming out of lockdown with a bit of extra cash saw me demo a 2020 Factory. Handed the keys back and signed on the dotted line for a brand new but 19 Black model with lots of carbon and an Akra thrown in
You “could” do anything on it including touring with a tailback and rucksack but fuel range and consumption would be issues.
I wouldn’t like to take a pillion on it though other than for a quick blast.
The post above about wet cold days is spot on-I’ve been caught in a couple of downpours and it wasn’t pleasant. One particular biblical session had me very unsettled but some of it maybe psychological.
I’m an evenly proportioned 6’ and there plenty of room on it to move around although the bike is obviously physically smaller than the KTM.
The desire to expand my horizons and travel more saw me looking at more touring biased bikes and I settled on the Superduke GT
As a comparison the KTM has similar power but is much easier to ride slowly and in poor or bad conditions. Other bonuses are weather protection, heated grips, luggage and pillion capability (it came with panniers) more all round tyres and fuel range.
It’s also very quick and handles really well. Maybe a perfect all round bike but if I could Only have one I’d keep the Tuono and work around the issues because most of what I do is for fun in decent weather

Thats the RSV V4, it says so on the fairing. It just looks ALOT like the 660 Tuono, which is no coincidence.

I took my KTM to the dealer for some work and whilst I couldn’t go into the showroom I was looking through the window at both 660 models.
They just look like baby versions of the bigger bikes.
They look nice though and I’d love to try them just out of curiosity.

I had one V4, around 2017-18 I guess. It had some problems, didn't like to start when hot which made petrol stops fun. The Alternator was also fooked.
It sounded amazing and I did love it. But after doing some track days on it I noticed it was annoying on the local roads. Just over powered and never really got going until illegal speeds.
I'm glad I owned it & got to experience the V4 engine on track. I wouldn't rush back.
