I'm trying to work out if its more reliable or even less reliable with that engine in it.
Could go either way.

I had one of each, I dont think that will be affected. Im sure the mellow and torquey engine will make it a lot less hectic. Briefly.

From a side view the monster looks like Ducati spent a long time looking at the 790

How tiny does King Kenny look on that YZR500?

Were GP bikes bigger back then, or is KR a midget?

Kenny is small, the YZR is about the same size as an FZR400, look at how big the wheels look, they're 18" not 17" but they still look huge because the bike is small

KR is 5' 1" (1.55m) according to some random web site.
Even bland can be a type of character

Probably, I was only going to post the first pic, but decided to do an image search to see if he looked small in any other pictures and spotted that one.

In the olden days, bike CC was identifiable by the number plate background.

I think the first bike is an inline 4 YZR500 with the centre cylinders backwards, but it could be a square four 500
2nd bike is interesting, definitely bigger than 500cc because it has white plates, but it's a square four with an ally frame, probably something Yamaha made for Daytona.

Edit 2nd bike is a 1984 YZR700 https://global.yamaha-motor.com/showroo ... r700_0w69/
