It's not so unlikely.

I knew a guy who was knocked off his bike by his wife.

She crashed both their cars, one into the other. She took out 10 metres of a neighbour's garden wall.

She fed him broken glass once, another time gave him food poisoning so bad that he gave up beer for two months.
