Feck me, you lot can whine about fuck all, if you don't like the food somewhere, don't eat there, if someone else likes it, good for them, it really doesn't matter.

Visited a mate in hospital who had it. Haven't stepped foot in McD's since.

They are what they are. Certainly the least likely to give you Norovirus at that price, at the side of the road :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Can't remember who it was - probably you :D - that pointed out how strict McD are on cleanliness etc.
They make them of ground up beef. Ground up in a factory where you can't see it. I am sure it meets hygene standards, but probably falls far short of what Tom Kerridge or I would accept as 'good' beef.

It's also weirdly two faced how chefs like that will sneer at supposed "factory meat", then lovingly talk about making stocks, broths and stews from long slow cooking of carcasses and bones

Pasties??? Pasties have pieces of real beef, if it is minced it is a pie. Even if it is pasty-shaped it is still a pie. Yes, I am looking at you Ginster!
Ginster are shite. And hard to get a decent pasty in Cornwall. All tourist shite.

Philps pasties in Hayle are shite

Which is completely guff. Kerridge knows his world but not the one of mass production. The quality of McDonalds ingredients is way better than most high street eateries. They do what they do well, but people don’t have to like them.
I'd like to know what exactly people think McDonalds are putting in their burgers

I worked alongside them for 5 years - McDs owned stores are very strict ( the franchise ones - M6 Toll Road South , can be questionable). Their burgers are beel - produced in millions, using local beef in each country - no soy, no filler, no onion or rusk as per the burger van.
Because of the scale they buy at, they can sell at the prices they do.
Unlike Tom Kerrodge who used to start his shift with pint of Negroni. Who do you think pays for that?
