Post by ChrisW »

Just finished watching timed practice.

Pleased - and amazed - to see the two Yamahas through to Q2!

Pecco's habit of throwing it down the road in the sprint races is really coming back to bite him. Why in the sprint races and not in the main GP? The championship is going to be decided on least number of DNFs between the two main protagonists.

It's not over yet,but Pecco's mistake was the most exciting thing about the race.

Well well well, this morning’s race was eventful
Glad Millar is walking.

Also glad Jorge settle down and stayed put.
Wicked first few laps, pedestrian after that

Also shout to Fabio, he’s slowing getting there.

Most interesting couple of laps in a long time.
As soon as the guy in 3rd went down it became F1

David Alonso in Moto3 continues to be on another planet; sixth win in a row, thirteen for the season so far and no less than 160 points clear of the joint second place riders in the championship.

Dominant doesn't even get close as a description.

A rush of blood to the head for George Martin in the early laps. He didn't need to be fighting Pecco like that, but I'm happy to watch while he did. Edge of the seat stuff, plus a red flag for a repeat. Watching the dice for 9th place says it all about the rest of the race. I hope Miller is ok,that was a nasty pileup.

Real respect between Martin and Bagnaia too, refreshing to see they can go at it full tilt and switch it off after the race. Proper sportsmen.

I haven't watched Moto2 or 3 yet,for some reason the Moto2 race didn't record,so I'll pick that up tomorrow. Moto 3 is always top entertainment.

Respect to Martin for going for it when clearly he shouldn't but hats off to him for having a go

The first three laps were entertaining but I was looking at recipes by lap 10.

Let's hope it's an interesting finalé in Barcelona in 2 or 3 weeks time.

Yeah,we are a bit 'spoiled brat' when it comes to modern racing. It's never really boring, there's always something to appreciate if you love bikes. I might be guilty of saying 'it was a boring race',but it's not boring like football,or cricket,or F1 where I have no vested or multi faceted interest in the sport,so a boring race is just one that doesn't have close racing.

Like I say,we are spoilt.
