Just picked up a pair of the Bull-it AAA rated jeans for 40% off

Had my eye on a pair for a while, but they've been £150+. My current Bull-it SR6 jeans are too big for me and look a bit like a sack to wear. These are much nicer. Fit is better, finish is better, they come with armour as well although might switch to the D3O I have in my SR6's at the mo as thinner. Last time I got the SR6's in a size 34 as that's what I am and they were a bit big but thought they'll be ok with a belt, but they really weren't. Much too big, so went for 32 inch waist this time and they are perfect so I'd say size down if you try a pair (unless you lie to yourself about waist sizes )
I ordered the slim and the straight. The slim were very slim fit and I could get them on but couldn't get my TCX boots underneath although my TCX trainers worked. The straight were perfect, much slimmer than my old SR6 but can get boots under them. There's a some stretch to the material. For 100 quid they seem decent value. They use the single layer AA rated jean with an extra covec layer in the danger areas around the arse/hip/knees.
Not worn them on the bike yet and won't till Spring. They'll be warmer than regular jeans, but feel thinner than my current SR6s so hopefully be ok in warmer weather and in the office (If I go back)

Re: New strides - Bull-it Covert
I use RST Aramid jobbies, they fit well and are very comfy. I don't even own leathers any more.

Re: New strides - Bull-it Covert
Yeah I do 90% of my riding in denim jeans now. I was looking at these RSTs which are also AAA but bit more expensive and I wasn't sure about the elasticated knee stretch panel. Works well for a bike, but preferred the bit more stealth look of the bull-it.
