Benidorm is only an hour up road, I can always book a hotel and watch pissed up Brits for amusement.

Make bets on their behaviour and turn it into sport.

Parked our 6 month old car at work last night, come out to this morning and its got a gouge/scratch in the drivers door. Turns out one of the other depts was in the depot last night and one of the staff had his dog with him running around all over the place. Guess who'll be trawling the CCTV tonight and seeing where this claim goes.

Slightly peeved (actually pretty pissed off) that my brain is not retaining information  Everytime the instructor or one of my fellow students asked me a question that we could get asked in the exam this week and next (mocks this week, exams next) I went blank :angry-cussingblack: FFS.

I know the answers, just can't bloody remember them when I need them :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:

Got a bike club weekend away the middle of next month. Apart from that my calendar is embarrassingly bare with literally nothing on it the whole month.

Then 2 other things I’d love to go to turn up. And of course one is on that Saturday and the other on the Sunday.

Ain’t that always the way.

Got ANOTHER screw in a tyre, this time in one of the barely 1000-miles-old ones on the T-Roc :angry-cussingblack:

Can't be repaired, too close to the edge. Yet another new tyre it is then. 😭

I've actually lost count of how many punctures/tyre repairs/new tyres we've had this year.

New tyres are quite sticky. "Tacky" might be a better term. Until they get a few miles on them, a few heat cycles and the surface becomes a little more robust. I think that's how it works because it's always a new tyre that picks up nails and screws.

The last time I took a car wheel to have a puncture repair, the guy gleefully told me the repair would be too close to the sidewall and a new tyre was in order. He didn't even try to disguise his mirth. And by my reckoning it was on the flat part of the tread and repairable.

I've never used that tyre place since.

That's my usual trick. I've so far used most of an A4 pad of paper writing and rewriting things! Think part of the problem is the language, as well as my tired, stressed little Pooh brain!! :( :(
