Re: VisorDown. Who was on it?
Years ago FA was in LA for a visit. The day after she arrived I took her for a ride to the RockStore. We stopped at my local boozer that afternoon for grog & vittles.
Ron Jeremy shows up & says "Hi Kerri" as he walks past the table..... WTF??
Turns out they were both at the same party the night before.

FA posted about meeting him. She said he offered his services out of politeness, but she declined and he didn't pursue the matter further. She posted a pic of the two of them at a table.MyLittleStudPony wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 11:44 pmDivnae talk yer shyte.ZRX61 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 6:29 pm Years ago FA was in LA for a visit. Re: VisorDown. Who was on it?
I joined VD after someone called ‘cbrchick’ ( I think) recommended it whilst we were both stood pissed at a taxi rank in Cambridge.
Lots of life long friends made (in the virtual and actual space). Most of you are really wonderful people. Those I haven’t met will almost certainly be good people irl too.
A lot of Facebook now who don’t post here. Some we’ve sadly lost.
Met my wife and we’ve been married 16 years, have 5 kids with the eldest who goes to uni next week our youngest is 12.
We both still ride motorbikes, too.
One of my first memories of VD was a thread with some ginger lass posting pics of her diddling her own fanjo with a dildo as part of a photo shoot. Other stuff happened I’m sure.
Look after yourself everyone and let’s reminisce in another 20 years.

That was thanks to Blondie I think, she was working on the Sky news desk (or might have been BBC) and shared it as it came in, well before it made it to the news presenter. It was pretty incredible!

I often wondered why I always heard about stuff on VD first.

Re: VisorDown. Who was on it?
Great nostalgia thread. I joined in late 2000. I'd had some training from Spin and he mentioned VD. I actually did ride scooters then. It was all a bit wild west at times in those days. I've probably only met a handful of folk from there/here irl, but there are plenty of others I feel I know.
I think it was me who introduced FJSrider (etc) to the place. We were both on a feet forward / maxiscoot forum of some sort. I've never met him, though. I never imagined he might be so..controversial
Anyway, it's good that we still have an active successor forum. Thanks to weeksy for keeping it going.

Re: VisorDown. Who was on it?
I did some training with Rapid and joined their chat forum. VD was mentioned in a sort of way, so obvs I looked in. The first thing I remember was that God/Rod's sig took up most of the screen.
