S’ok, it was a hire car, fastest car on the road!! Seriously, I get it suits where you live but I couldn’t recommend it for here if you use motorways.Yorick wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 10:51 pmOver here we rarely get above 60. It's a great off road car for the price, and not too bad generally. It wouldn't be my first choice as a road car. But for the price, we can bang it off road without worrying about all the scratches and dings. There's a lot LOL.
Scared to think about the resale value
Tonight I have some sporty Fiesta for a trip, again I think it will be the fastest car on the road at about 0200.
Only using lots of hire cars because I am sorting out operational cars and our risk assessment says only one person in a car. Must be costing the taxpayer a lot of money.

had hours of meetings and then PAT testing stuff in the Church. have an evening meeting coming up from 8pm, but it is one I enjoy, so can kick back a relax. And we had an acceptable offer on the house! Hallelujah! Now to make sure then cough up and follow through... At least it will eventually get sold. Right now I'm making a nice mashed potato and beetroot burger dinner for wife and i. Nom nom.

Helped lay several cubic metres of concrete, 3 to 4 I think. What was very pleasing though was there being only about a wheelbarrow's worth over once the various areas were filled and tamped.

I had a friend who used to love the look of black steel wheels on cars... because that's what all the unmarked cars on The Bill had.

Went to my Step Dads and cut his dogs claws and then put him up some of the fantastic solar lights i've convinced everyone to get. Then over to the in-laws to install a Ring doorbell for them. Back home now and have to put my gazebo back up, but that will be after a siesta! Since being furloughed I've got right into a half hour nap in the afternoon!

Got to look at online reviews now as they don't give you a trial period.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I've put these ones in for the olds. They light paths really well considering they are battery power. Obviously they aren't going to floodlight your whole garden but they are a world apart from the normal solar LED lights.636mick wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 4:59 pmI know I’ve asked before, what solar lights are they, I need some.Taipan wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 2:32 pm Went to my Step Dads and cut his dogs claws and then put him up some of the fantastic solar lights i've convinced everyone to get. The price on that looks volatile, worth waiting a few days.
