Rebel Yell!

Post by KungFooBob »

Honda are using the Africa Twin lump in a cruiser!

The CMX1100.

I'm conflicted, I actually like the look of the Bobber version...

Not the worst attempt at a Harley ish copy

They got the peanut tank done ok but kinda missed the shotgun pipes and went for Bazooka/Anti tank missile instead

Rider does not look comfortable. Straight arms even when leant forward = aching shoulders and difficult slow speed manoeuvring.
Even bland can be a type of character

There is something about those types of bikes that I like.
I think it's the fantasy of jumping on and heading off into the California desert on an adventure.

The reality is I think you're supposed to park it up in Shoreditch and sip boutique coffee whilst talking to your friends with man buns.

I sometimes do that, usually when when wearing an offroad helmet.

Weird looking bike.

Big brother to the CMX500...

A bike I assumed was aimed entirely towards women, however the only one I've seen in the flesh was being ridden by an old fella.

Honda should be having a look at what yamaha are doing. That engine in something like the XSR would surely have much wider appeal.

That looks okay, tank looks a bit odd, but apart from that okay, if it has the DCT gearbox it's a good idea
