Now sat in an aire du camping car about to go out for an anniversary meal in St Severin.
Lovely Italian place ... G-man would love it.
May be drunken photos later!

The only white bits we’ve seen in the sky today. It’s been *hot* even since the morning cycle ride for croissants ended up very sweaty.

Not complaining: Pool, lie down. Pool, lie down etc, etc.

Nerja is a Lovely place but the beach is about a mile away down a very steep hill. Going down was one thing but coming up rnearly killed us! A man even lent out of his balcony and asked if we were okay and did we need water! 🤭 Will go to the old town tomorrow where we can get buses and Ubers back to the hotel!

I've gone for the tiramisu as I had biancaneve last time!
The camponata was exquisite by the way!
The risotto was bello!

Was highly amused by the pup *pooling* a cat (as opposed to the cat being treed) Cat was next to the pool, dog startled the cat which promptly launched itself almost straight up about 3 feet, but owing to launch trajectory came down in the pool.
Cat managed to drag itself out of the pool, ran across the yard & attempted to jump onto the garden wall, but misjudged that launch too & landed in the middle of the bush next to the wall.

I got pulled today for 2 tiny white line infringements in car.
Didn't see bike cop who was 4 cars behind me.
He let first go, but blue lights for 2nd

First was behind car doing 60 in 90.
2nd passing camper doing 30 in same 90.

100€ fine but no points deducted.

Dropped a car off in the valley and got a lift home

Did some sewing

Went to meet some mates in the next village down - was bought alcohol (some genépis and a rum   )

Got the last bus home cos walking home isn’t fun and I felt slightly worse for wear (sadly means I left earlier than most!) - had been chatting about the driver that’s been flirting with me for years but backs off whenever I get brave!! Yup - same again. Zero flirting with drunk Noggin 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sooooo funny!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

On the second day of our holiday. Hotel is tired. Buffet is el crapo. But sitting on the balcony drinking sangria with my girl, watching the world go buy is priceless! Also I slept like a dead elephant and after yesterday’s mounting climbing up these hilly streets I’m as lethargic as a sloth today!

Nerja has a special charm.....once you get away from the bars and cafes along by the cannon pier!
We used to park down by the playa (now forbidden) in Feb, gawd knows how busy it is in summer!

An afternoon sightseeing in Segovia then dinner at the hotel. Just looking at the campsite wifey has organised on the north coast which doesn't take tents, I should have looked earlier. An interesting couple of days ahead trying to find somewhere to stay.
