Of course they did
It's not even for a year. They run from 1st December. So if you went on 29th November it's still 40CHF and it lasts 1 day. Thieves in lederhosen
Not exactly. It runs until the end of December but you can buy it at least month early (and I suspect there's a smidge of leeway in January if you have the previous years, but I haven't tried that)

So you get 13+ months if you buy in November or 12 months if you buy 1st January

TBF, over all it's cheaper than paying tolls on French roads for a trip. But yes, expensive if you are only popping into Suisse nd coming out again

But it's only 40CHF, so not 'that' bad if you know about it!!

Been an interesting morning here, his practice finished 30 mins ago and he's not down.

Eventually he messages Katie and says "helicopter isn't for me, we're at top"

Not messaged his parent lol just his mate. Another red half way down so waiting again. This time he did message me though.

Ah, yes. I misunderstood. It runs from the 1st Dec to 31st Jan sort of thing. I drove in in a Belgian registered car for a week or so in summer. So, when I finished in Brussels somebody got a car with a few months vignette left on it. :D

You're right, it's cheaper than French tolls but there's more of a sense of paying for what you use. A monthly vignette would be nice.

Still, it's cheaper than importing meat.

Practice complete and now waiting for seeding run.

He's still not done a top to bottom without stopping. Partly due to learning the track and red flags.

He's due out 12.43uk roughly.

What a day.

There were 10+ people carted off in the helicopter today and qualifying for elites was cancelled as they ran out of time.

The boy felt his run was ok but some mistakes and some lines to pick up in the morning tomorrow. But sometimes I think he forgets the scale of things, this is the Euro Champs, the best in Europe on the hardest track around and he's 49th, out of the best in Europe lol.

From where we came at the start of this thread, that's, well, bloody amazing if you ask me.

Me, I'm fried. We made a mistake not booking accommodation in Champery, the drive on the roads is an absolute killer and eats your brain, especially at 5.10am when we're having to leave. Ouch.

The intensity of waiting, watching, waiting, it gets really hard

But it's exceptionally rewarding.
