Bleedin' obvious when you say it, but at first blush it does look like she's wearing a wing suit or carrying an ironing board

My memory tells me there was an Avon Squaremaster. And racing tyres were triangular in section.

The Dunlop TT100 had that triangular ("trigonometric"?) profile.

My 400F I had a TT100 front and Speedmaster rear.

Speedmaster, that's the one. Their Triple duty tyre was very square, mostly because it was for sidecars.

The Avon Skidmaster as it was not so affectionately known. I remember the first bike I put TT100s on. It was a YDS7 and it turned so fast I nearly rode up a footpath, totally caught me out.

I put a pair of TT100s on a CX 500. Awful, 'teetering on ice' feel. Within days they were replaced by Contis.

They transformed my Honda 400-F into a wobbler. Wore them out, fitted Contis :)

I think I've seen video of Joey "adapting" slicks on the Island using one of these...

That's what the tyre providers do. See it any race event. Seen Michelin etc do it at BSB events many times. Helps get some heat into the tyre.

You've reminded me I've seen the Endurance guys hand-cutting slicks to deal with damp conditions.

Used to cut slicks for supermoto, too.

Not the best pic, but the best pic I could find.
