Gremlinette having a bad case of the two-bobs (CRS translation: two-bob bits = the shits).

Allow me to elucidate:

Her boyfriend wanted to see Travis Scott. You may remember that it was at his gig in Houston that 10 people died in a crush. Anyhow, London all sold out, but they found tickets in Milan, so thought they'd make a bit of a break of it, see Milan, do the concert, have a nice time. Six male friends also decide to come along for the gig too.
On the 'plane out, Gremlinette gets the squits, to the point she's in the toilet most of the flight, plus feeling nauseous, etc. End result, she swerves the concert, her boyfriend meets up with the other lads and they all go together.

Fuck me, I recall being at gigs and the crowd being lively, but the videos I saw this morning were something else. :o  . Ippodromo di San Siro holds about 15k people. Even way back from the main stage, it was just one big mosh pit. Gremlinette's boyfriend had his new Ac Milan top ripped from his back, as did all the lads, lost all his rings and his wallet, one of the lads has some serious cuts to his back. None of this targeted by the sound of it, just what happens at a Travis Scott gig.
Had the Gremlinette been there, she would have had a meltdown as she doesn't really do crowds (WTF she thought it would be like at a Travis Scott concert, I have no idea - generous seating and complimentary drink?!). In addition, there was a serious lack of water to be purchased and it was seriously hot. She met them all at the metro station bringing bottles of water like some drought relief charity worker.

Anyhow, no serious injuries and the lads have all got Insta likes, but in the words of her boyfriend, 'Glad I went but I'm never, ever going to a Travis Scott gig again!'.

Glad my little girl was well out of it. :)
All aboard the Peckham Pigeon! All aboard!

Living on top of a hill. Love the views (ok, not quite mountains like Noggin's place, but ... ).

This morning, across the valley to the castle, 2 miles away. And sunset a few nights ago

The new KFC advert.
Not the product per se, the fact they're using The disturbed for the music.

We often pop into this lovely cafe when we go shopping.

Just love the name. Looks like someone was surprised when they named it.

A new pillow :)

Silent night pocketspring. Until unpacking the new one, I hadn't realised quite how much the old one's springs had weakened.

I was expecting a full day today. 5 guests leaving and 4 arriving. So I need to turn around 4 cabins in double quick time.

I cracked on at 7:30 and had that one and some ancillary work smashed out by 9:30.

First guest arrived at 9:35. (Check in is 16hr). Fortunately campsite reception told him he would have to wait.

I took the dog for a walk and picked up breakfast ingredients and was back at it before 11.

By 14:30, every cabin was ready. I took a shower. Put on my smart clothes and called the guys that had got here at 9:30.

He was checked in by 15hr and everyone else tricked in nicely and much to my surprise, I was finished by 15:55 !!

So I took the dog for another walk and got myself some beers!

Sounds bonkers - but they're brilliant :)

It gets better. Our duvet is filled with wool - it's a Baavet. And they're brilliant too :D

Yet many people are happy to sit on furniture full of them and sleep on beds full of them.

NB we have an Emma memory foam mattress :)

Springed pillows are antennas for Elon Musk's so called 'starlink' thought control satellites, it's all part of a plan to brainwash you into buying an electric car.

Everyone knows that.

There have been recorded instances of a mattress spring breaking, then coiling itself up an unsuspecting rectum. That's bad enough, but imagine a pillow spring winding itself into your cranium via the earhole.

I never sleep without my buttplug firmly in place. 8-)

I can see a plus side: get up in the morning, but need a kip later? Already there's a pillow pinned conveniently on the side of your head.

Getting up Hopegill Head, love it up there but what really cheered me up was: the final scramble to the top can be a bit tricky, but not for a small black dog (Patterdale ?) following a fell runner down the crack, just above the notch with a mahoosive stick in his chops
