Much less than planned - bloody back spazzed again. Wasn't too worried as I know about it now, but mostly cos I thought I was seeing the physio tonight. It's not till tomorrow night But at least it's managable this time!!
So, more to do tomorrow/Weds now!!

Yesterday:
Had fun in the canyons with the F350. Even had some plonker in a Golf GTi pull over & get the fuck out of my way & then blasted past some sporty Toyota on a straight bit. I don't think he was expecting to be passed by a truck.

Blotched and slathered some gloss paint on the shed doors. Snagged a good lump of oak and another pressure washer from a skip.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Yesterday really! Finished this -
Not sure who it will be going to, but now I'm not sure how to frame it! Normally I'd stretch it myself and then get a frame and mount to fit.
BUT - talking to a mate earlier and he suggested mounting it on wood, possibly lemon shaped - there were some other suggestions too but that was my favourite. Sooo - it'll probably go into the box of completed xstitch/tapestry until I have funds to sort out framing some of them!! LOL

Re: What have you done today thread?
Sorted out my OBD to mercedes fly lead today.
Sounds simple enough, except the 'fully populated' OBD end doesn't match up with the 14 pin round adaptor, so it's cut it off, find a spare 14 pin, desolder, then painstakingly attach the wires in the right order, after discovering that every manufacturer uses different colour connections, so it's a case of multimeter and masking tape to match everything up.
After an hour of probing and soldering we have a fully functioning OBD reader.
Now discovered the reason we have no air con too, 0 bar pressure!

I know - nobody likes a smartass, but in the interests of accuracy: it’s bradycardia (too slow). Tachycardia = too fast. School day.Horse wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 12:49 pmI heard someone with threats about that be advised to wear a 'medical alert' bracelet or similar.
If found unconscious, you run the risk of being treated as brachycardic. I don't know whether treatment decisions are based solely on HR, or on BP etc too.
But get professional advice - don't do it because Hoss said so

Re: What have you done today thread?
Went to Geneva Airport as a passenger - worse, back seat passenger!! I did warn the driver that I am prone to car sickness, so god know what his driving would have been like if I hadn't said that!!! Spent the journey there feeling sick and spent half the drive back (me driving) trying to feel less sick!! LOL
Nice chat with my bus driver mate en route to meeting some friends, but just before I got off a little kid puked up on his bus, right next to me, so even though I survived my car sickness, I still arrived at the bar with puke on my shoes
