I had to look up why the scenes on Geidi Prime looked so weird....IR film innit?
Having got the film on BluRay I watched all the 'extras'. No wonder it cost so much to make!

Have to say that Austin Butler as Feyd-Ruatha is the actual star of this one for me - the black teeth were a stroke of genius too.

Godzilla Minus One.

Defaults to english over dubs on my Netflix which just looks/sounds weird. Switch back to the original Japanese sound track with subs and it's much better!

I normally don't go in for these sorts of films but I'd read good things about this one so I gave it a go. 8/10

Godzilla isn't even in it that much!

Civil War - a really, really good film. I won’t spoil it but really worth a watch.

This one I presume? Looks pretty epic in the trailer. Is it on netlix/amazon or did you go to see it at the pictures?

I rented it on Sky @ £4.99 - wanted to go to the cinema to see it but missed it.

It’s on Amazon for a similar price I think.

Watched a documentary on Woodstock '99 on Sky Documentaries last night. I think it was part of the Music Box series. Plenty of talking heads, footage of the build up to what transpired, plenty of finger pointing and then the whole meltdown on the Sunday.

What was most shocking, looking now from our (thankfully) more enlightened perspective was the normalisation of sexual assault back then.

Well worth a watch if you tire of Love Island. :D

Two films back to back the other night...

The Watcher...dodgy Irish forest, quite good and not a true story.

Bikeriders...Tom Hardy film about about the rise of the American bikers gangs. Pretty good I thought, Mrs not too keen.

Both a vast improvement on the "sowing bee" I thought. 🤷‍♂️

Yes, I enjoyed that.
I'd forgotten how much of a bit of a cock he was! :D Great athlete though. How he managed to carry on in some of those competitions whilst injured is staggering.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

More entertaining than watching a monkey throw it's own poo at visitors to the zoo, but only just

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Superman and Reacher kill all ze germans, very silly but very enjoyable

The Gremlin household watched that on Saturday. When paused to refill glasses, I made the comment that the timeline of the film was not at all realistic* and was going to explain why, when Mrs. G shot me a look and reminded me that it was a film, that she was quite enjoying, and to forget picking it apart for factual details.

I wisely kept my counsel. :D

C'mon you knew it was going to be hollywood when you first hear (or don't) the silenced sten guns being fired.

I only watched it as I appear to have fallen into an SOE hole of late, watched Sea Wolves a week or so back and finished listening to The Bullet Garden (An Earl Swagger Novel) last week

The Boys, series 4.
I vowed after series 3 I wouldn't watch another one
I did - and it was just as pointless
