Finally gave in and watched The Covenant. Not the biggest fan of Guy Ritchies style, so the thought of him being involved in a war type film didn't really appeal. I was wrong. He made a good job of it and I felt really tense at points.

A police thing about solving aged murders, we watched all five seasons and there wasn't a bad one in them.
Not usually my thing but it was good.

They were on TV and not new, but we don't watch much TV so we only discovered them a few weeks ago and we watched one every evening in bed until we'd seen them all.

We watched that on fletnix...as you said...very good.

Jodie Comer can do no wrong (I will fight you if you disagree), and Austin Butler ain't bad either. Tom Hardy being his usual excellent self.

The film as a whole is interesting enough, and the characters and development of the biker gang is definitely absorbing - worth a watch I reckon.

I saw Star Trek: Strange New Worlds series 1 and 2 were both on Amazon for £6.99, so I bought 'em both.

It's Star Trek like Star Trek used to be! Stories are wrapped up in one episode (pretty much), it's not dark and gritty and depressing, people solve problems by thinking them through, the Captain is an optimist! Plus it's got the best quiff on modern TV.

Speaking of cast cross overs....there's an episode in series two where two animated characters from Lower Decks appear in the live action Strange New Worlds. The voice actors from the former play the same characters in real life.

I never clocked that the guy who voices the lead in LD (purple haired Boimler) is Hughie from The Boys.

With the personal transporters in Discovery you just poop where and when you want and it's instantly transported outside of the ship

I started it, as I'd read a gushing review somewhere. After about three episodes I realised it wasn't going to get any better.


I've just finished Bodies on Netflix. It's worth a watch, if a little far-fetched and slightly incoherent at the end.
