I think I got it, but I might need a little point in the right direction.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
Just a scratty bit of waste ground I sometimes walk the dog along but this weeks
little treat is a few wild Orchids.

Other times theres Dippers (quite often see those tux suited aquatic birds in the beck) and then there's often a Heron (and once a Little Egret) and sometimss I see a flash of iridescent blue/green thats a Kingfisher.

Neither could we - this was a carefully curated photodemographic wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2024 9:41 pmDoubt I could leave our.dog just chillaxin outside a polling station, sight of a cat* a d he'd be off like a shot.Sunny wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2024 7:45 pm I don't think I'll ever get over the joy of voting in a pub

He tried to eat our cat when we first got him, and our cat was fucking nails. Took six months to sort that situation out
He is never let off his lead (we usually walk him on a long line in the countryside), as he is very fond of catching and killing small furry things, which so far have included: numerous voles, several rabbits, a squirrel, a pheasant, and a fox cub. All while on a lead

Paid a visit to the tallest bonfire. 200ft of pallets and still growing. Mad Larne feckers running about on the top.

Re: utterly random picture thread.
Presumably also not far off the "tallest structure made from pallets" record either

Re: utterly random picture thread.
According to FB, intention is 210 feet high, world record height for a bonfire.
However, following a not unexpected intervention by the H&S team, next year's bonfire will be in conspicuous colours and feature electric lighting.

Bill getting a bit excited at the footy today... Appears to be wearing body armour under his shirt, while the bloke behind him looks to be having a quick wank...

Re: utterly random picture thread.
Been nagging my mum to dig this photo out for years.
It's my grandad (and granny, who died before I turned one), on his bike at some point in the 1940s. As it's wartime/just after, he's wearing his Fire Service uniform so he doesn't get done
Beyond it being a Sunbeam I know nothing else about it. I'd love to know what happened to it.
