The missus just subscribed to Netflix so looking for some good recommendations.
Don't need to be blockbuster or award winning. I'm happy with easy watching sometimes.
Hate sci-fi ;)

Godless - series not a film but quite good
Big short - Michael Lewis book made into a quite good film - About 2008 wall street crash
I'm sure i'll think of others

Search “making a murderer” it was a lot of people introduction to Netflix

The Death of Stalin. More satire, brilliant cast and razor sharp script.

Watched Living on Netflix last night. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9051908/

The complete antithesis of an action blockbuster, but Bill Nighy is superb. Bit disjointed in places, but worth a watch.

It's a remake of an old Kurosawa film, with the author Kazuo Ishiguro doing the adaptation.
