The cast oil tank is sat on top of the gearbox/clutch in that pic. You'd have to be Mr Magoo to think it was a cylinder, but that's what the press pack said.

I've seen media statements about stuff which I designed that make we go "eh...say what? I don't recall anyone saying that about it".
Not saying the oil tank thing is BS, but there are better reasons for the design than making it look a bit like a Ducati, although perhaps not easily soundbiteable ones.

Hade a blue trx a few years ago with blue spots and an r6 rear shock, new emulsion tubes and needles sorted the surging on steady throttle. Do regret selling it though.
Original seat unit looks better too, would have made sense to stick more modern front end as that was a weak point.
