Henry Cole is a tit of the highest order. In my humble opinion.

Nearly watched it but luckily Quest was playing up on Freeview last night so I was forced to play it safe with Midsomer Murders.

I really struggle to watch Cole .....clicked on a couple of bike titled shows over the years and then seen him presenting it and thought "Bollocks, probably wont see the end of this one"

I think Henry Cole is a twat, but for some reason I find him fascinating to watch, especially the "Greatest Motorcycle Ride" programs, he whinges his way across countries in a misery of his own making - it's great, he never seems to learn that he doesn't enjoy riding a motorcycle.

I found myself shouting at the TV when they kept referring to the T140 lump as a1978. With a right hand side shift it had to be pre 1975, also disappointed that Millyard didn’t strip the bottom end to check the sludge trap

I like Millyard and Lovgrove, and Cole is just the annoying but harmless chap that knocks around with them.
I rather watch Cole on his own than that arrogant twat Tiff Nedell in the new ( I say new, but it follows the tired format of every car show ever) car show on ITV4 on a Thursday.

Think I've seen enough supercars going sideways on a track to know that's what £200,000 plus cars can do. Nothing new here.

As for the other two presenters, I'm sure neither were chosen for their personalities. Dreadful show. I wont be watching again.

Cole doesn't bother me, well mostly and he makes programs about things that interest me, so I happily watch his stuff.

Watched the Motorbike Show last night where they were testing out an electric motorbike, in this case a Zero. It was run side by side with his mate Guy Willison's modified CB1100RS. Thought they missed a trick here by not doing a 0-60 sprint, or a 30-80 roll on, as the Zero would have easily won and shown the advantages of an electric motor and max torque being there at all times.

Perhaps no trick was missed though. Willison is part of 5four Motorcycles and this was built in collaboration with Honda. And you can buy these CB1100RS new to order. Couldnt have a special Honda trounced by an electric thing, could we? And the bloke from Zero didn't do it any favours either.

Still, decent program even if just to see Alan Millyards Z1 six cylinder being ridden. The man is a genious.

I don't mind him or the programme. I've watched his Greatest Motorcycle Adventures multiple times, they're a good Xmas watch when on the sofa and WFH.
Motorbike Show, yeah i'm OK with it, even with the hideous thing him and his mate are currently knocking up. He's enthusiastic and passionate about bikes, that's good enough for me.

It's a much better program that the first series.
Millyard and Sam Lovegrove both love what they build, and Millyard looks more settled in front of the camera. Cole is the "enthusiastic puppy" of the three.

"On The Road", is ITV4's car program, of which I never manage to watch more than a couple of minutes. Cringeworthy TV, and not even sure who its audience is supposed to be

I admit it, I'll watch anything with bikes/cars/mechanics involved even with mr cole presenting.

I keep trying to watch Cole but just when i drop my guard he then gets on a modern bike and his only input it "electickery i dont understand" referring to the Honda Africa Twin and when he rode the new Fireblade kept it in 3rd gear maximum as above that was "too scary" while wearing an open face lid ffs. Every other review of the bike says it needs to be revved to find anything like its real feeling, but then again he rode a 93 Blade , again with a piss pot lid, and said that was scary but didnt get over 60 mph on film.

If he sticks to old/custom bikes i can almost just about tolerate him but anything evenly remotely modern and he is completely out of his depth

Watching the new series currently, they're rebuilding a Moto Martin, which means absolutely bugger all to me.... but it's bikes, banter and riding... So i'm all in as usual.
