Get rid of all of the stickers and it looks better than the xsr GP to me

I would... and looks better with the half fairing and that lovely 45 degree cant on the cylinders exposed to the admiring view...

That's nice, I have considered buying an XSR and making it look like an FZ, but I didn't want to modify a brand new bike.

I like it, but then I'm bound to, I like anything that borrows it's look from those 1980's endurance racer type bikes.
I don't know if it looks better than the factory bike in Marlboro colours, that's going to be really hard to beat, but it looks good.

I'm not sure I could be bothered modifying anything these days though, I just want to buy it and use it, so anything that needs work to look differently would probably get a swerve from me.

Don't think you are alone there. As I've got older I've an interest in making something more usable like top boxes, screens, maybe seat. No interest really in visual/audio mods.
