I headed down from the first photo place to Bourg to get coffee and chat and whilst there, a guy I know there messaged and asked if I was about. So we headed out. He suggested the Cormet de Roselend (think the TdF went over there last year, possibly two years in a row!!). I know from last time I did it (2018!!) that it has some seriously narrow, nadgery hairpins and twisty bits!!

Anyway - we made it there and back down. Not doing the down bit next time, we'll keep going and come back through the valley!!

Very very tough on the spazzy bits!! But worth it :D :

Forgot to take photos, but i escorted Murcan up to Winchester today, nice ride, but I'd forgotten how frustrating the A272 is now.

Looked to be lot of customers at Loomies, but i didn't stop in.

Up and away early for a few hours. Lovely empty roads. 8-)

That ride was a bit of a workout. Perfect weather today but…It's June and the lanes were wetter than last winter with loads of exposed roots, wet chalk and flint……lovely and I didn’t see a soul

After stopping at the site of The Battle of Bosworth a few weeks back and something I saw on TV this week, my chosen destination for today was Naseby battlefield.

There’s no actual visitor centre but I managed to find 3 memorials exploring around the lanes.

Fundraiser run today. A really good turn out,so hopefully a few quid raised for a local children's charity.
Some boys from the Vintage club turned up and there were plenty of interesting bikes to view. Warning..pic heavy posts!

Rode over to the Long Mynd (Church Stretton), had a meander along the top, watched the gliders for a bit (blurry shot of one coming in to land), came home again 😊

Slightly random, but I found this top box/luggage rack in a box the other day - no bolts that I can see, but do have to shuffle through the boxes again soon so might find them!! I had it on my 390 Duke.

Can probably find someone to get it to the UK to post to you if it's any use?

I know Great Yarmouth has a reputation for being behind the times but this is taking the piss with the latest ship to dock on the river

Got closer than most Spanish galleons - barring those that got stranded around the Scottish Isles and the west coast of Ireland.

Good pics :)

Apart from including one I've owned and a few I've ridden - when they were current :(
