My old work had a machine that tested plugs by making them spark in a compression chamber with a viewing window.

Exactly what I used but mine came from a redundant battery charger I think. If I was on a telly programme I'd call it upcycling and flog them for a tenner each.

I fully expect to be able to find someone hawking them for £8 each at Kempton....
