Everyone round my area wants to feed the birds. They wonder why they have mice in the sheds eating the bird food and why they not have weeds under the feeders. I am sure the birds have managed to survive for a few years before bird feeding was a thing. They were all happy pulling worms and other bugs out my garden this morning.

People feed birds for the good of their own soul, or to see interesting birds and I wouldn’t say that’s wrong or bad.

I look after wildlife by leaving it alone.
