I don't get why people do that, it's like the 350LC lot that put RGV banana swingarm on - just buy an RGV.
I'm into period improvements, my LC has them, but if you take a bike from a decade+ later and graft parts on then it just doesn't make much sense to me.

So did I on an MT125, but I didn't know better at the time.

Remember those well- Doug Randall, the racer I spannered for in my teens raced one of the first versions (aircooled) in the MT125 challenge in the late 70s, diddy little thing, had the narrowest imaginable top yoke and the front brake was the mechanical cable operated front caliper off the SS50 of the time

I don't usually like K-based specials, and I'm not sure that I completely like this one

It reminds me of a a Munch Mammoth (that's not good), but I wonder whether the bulk of the K11 engine makes the whole bike looking bigger than it probably really is.

Interesting choice of place to mount the rear shock.

Look where it is on KFbs K. That is gonna make quite a difference.

Actually scrap that, the Special must be a K1100, they had the more modern casing on the final drive, but still with the same shock mount point...

Well that's one way to convert a BMW boxer to chain drive... just rotate the engine 90 degrees and weld a sprocket to the gearbox output shaft!
