The textured finish looks like a really nice job. You must be happy with how its come out.

Well chuffed & very gruntled. Was surprised when they told me it had a lifetime warranty.

Bloody knackered now after throwing 10ft 2x12's around outside in Desert heat.... although they're somewhat shorter now (12, 18, 24, 36, 48 & 60in lengths... two of each & each piece beveled 45deg on one end. When it cools down a bit I'll screw & glue them together.
On the upside, they will be very spiffy truck ramps.

OMS is finished, gave it three coats of sealer... although I may give the wood a coat or two of proper spar varnish. It also functions as a crate when it's the other way up...

More wood finishing today & cleaning up the truck a bit for tomorrows run to the RockStore. Dosed the fuel again so it will smell like I'm running the damn thing on hydrazine. May change the angle on the end of the exhaust. Currently points down, thinking it would look better angled back about 45deg... Meredith effect? ;)

Was checking the tire pressures today. This is what the inside of the rear wheel arches look like at 133k miles & 28 years old. The black marks are mostly road tar.

Sanding & varnishing done. Tomorrow I get to fuck it all up with stall mat & contact cement.

The rest of the gubbins to repair the gelcoat on the body kit should be here by Friday...

Rain forecast for the weekend (again!) so gelcoat repair will be next week. Been a while since I did any of that.

Frustrating day of doing bugger all. On the upside, all the gelcoat repair gubbins are here now.
Front floor mats will be here Monday.
Today's rain washed all the pollen off the truck (again).

The seam sealer I bought for the drip rain blended perfectly. I thought about using it to run a small bead between the truck bodywork & the aftermarket body kit/running boards.. which I think has the possibility of improving the overall look of the truck. OTOH I also think it may end up looking like fried ass so have held off on that idea/potential clusterfuck.

Floor mats arrived/installed.

Set off a Mequiars *new car smell* bomb inside the truck in an attempt to rid it of "old truck stink".... & now it smells like a tarts boudoir instead. I don't recall ever visiting a tarts boudoir & thinking it smelled like a new car... Hopefully that smell will dissipate somewhat.

Gave the tonneau cover the good cleaning. Thought it was dark blue, it's actually black.

Was at the steel yard this morning picking up ten 4x4in x 3/32nd pre-cut steel squares for backers to the tie down's I'm going to install in the bed sides when I spotted a rack of pre-cut 11g &16g polished diamond plate... (11g is 1/8in, 16g is 1/16in)
Grabbed a 1x4ft piece of 16g & installed it at the rear of the plywood in the bed... (after I trimmed a 1cm strip off one end & rounded the corners)

Had a plan to go see the bloke who did my ZRX11 & ZX11 seats & have him sort the knackered foam in the drivers seat base (previous owner was somewhat stouter than me). However, I wasn't moving too good so called off the trip.
Then I found a booster seat cushion that is the same colors as the truck seats, & also covered (partially) in leather. Ordered that from Amazon, it can bide me over until I go visit the seat shop, but no hurry now.
It arrived today & adds just about the perfect amount of height. I now sit at the same height as I did in my '86 F350. :)

Managed to get the sound system doodad & dash cam registered for warranty activation.

Haven't managed to get the phone & dash cam to talk to each other yet. It doesn't recognize the default password...

Still need to change the oil/filter.

Car show last night, would have nailed the "Biggest Truck" class... if there had been one.

Oil/filter change this morning, ops check ok, no drips. Yes, the oil pan really is that clean/shiny. Filter alone holds 2 of the 18 quarts...
