I'm definitely not one of the ones lacking passion about bikes, I absolutely love mine...
Me to, I went into the garage with a brew earlier just to look at mine, from certain angles they're like genuine pieces of art, you don't get that with every bike.
I just don't feel like riding them much at the moment.

I sometimes just sit in garage looking at the GSXR and the GasGas.
Both superb at what they do. And exact opposites. Both beautiful.

I'm liking it more and more, also liking the missing lower fairing version. I'd imagine the suspension is perfectly adequate for 99% of us. 12.5 k does seem a bit steep but everything does keep going up.

Seeing in the flesh can make a big difference, a test ride will give the answers to any doubts.
I'm not sure any bike makes me feel special, nothing makes me feel special, well, maybe a blowjob off Liz Hurley, but it might be a bike that you really enjoy riding. 👍

That's very kind...but I'm very much a straight guy who appreciates a sexy lady, like in the old days. 🙂👍

From the Yamaha webshite.

When you see the GP and the stock XSR side by side you do have to wonder how much Yamaha are paying for silver paint.

Looks like she was a fan of the Band that I Roadied for when they first started. If I'd known she was around I could have got her in the Back Door.

Doesn't even look like same bike without the exhaust and fairing lowers. I'd not even give that a second look. Amazing what a couple of bit will do...

I’m 100% not lacking in passion for bikes. Just had a serious lack of ability also frustrated by French bureaucracy:roll:

The next few months should mean I can relearn and actually ride a lot 🎉🎉🎉
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

That's what I keep saying, it's not £12,500 if you want it to look like it should, it's £15k and some change.

And that takes it up to having to mix it with some pretty serious competition, you can get the fully loaded Norden with all the adventure package for less than that, or add a grand and get a brand new baby Panigale - in fact Preston Ducati have got a Panigale in with 1,000 miles on it and £4k of extras for <£15k.

Great looking bike, mid-range parts, silver painted frame and a fat price tag.
I dunno why people are surprised that I'm disappointed with it.

I'm not into new vehicles so i'd happily wait until the 2nd hand ones hit the market. Might be worth doing that and you may even get a fully sorted one then? I still cant believe how much I like the look of them and normally I dont even look at faired bikes! :wtf:

If you can live with the looks a speed triple 1200 rr offers far better value for money. Triumph are knocking them out at 13k at the moment.

Didn't we have a discussion on this where it's generally seen as the best value bike on the planet but it looks so bad no one is buying it?
