I'd go 997 for something I want to use with any regularity, but yeah 964 for something more special.

SHOW STOPPER - THORNTON HUNDRED DUCATI PANIGALE 1299 BUILT BY JODY MILLHOUSE PLUS £1K CASH - 1ST MAY
DRAW GUARANTEED FOR 01/05/2024
(Sales close 28/04/2024) regardless of ticket sales
Show Stopper – Thornton Hundred Ducati Panigale 1299 Built by Jody Millhouse

This is the bike that put Thornton Hundred Motorcycles on the map, so it's a little bit special and having been built by one of the UK's best bike builders Jody Millhouse with the build fully documented on Instagram this is quite simply beautiful so grab a load of the gallery pics and get in on the action.

Where do we start with such an awesome build.. well a Ducati Panigale 1299 is a pretty good start and Jody's plan was quite simple to build a show stopper. The Panigale was stripped back to start a modern cafe racer build and inspired by wanting to show that L-Twin engine.

Working through the bike an alloy front mudguard was fabricated using an English wheel and its minimalist look helped to show off the gold Ohlins forks which really stand out against the colour scheme of this machine. The front end was replaced with a one off headlight surround that was 3D printed and fitted with a set of high intensity LED projectors.

The handlebars were upgraded with Rethal Intellilevers and Motogadget indicators to give a top quality finish in keeping with the cleaner look. The oil oil cooler was then moved to the opposite side of the engine to reduce the amount of engine pipework and cabling. The next phase was that incredible titanium exhaust which was created using a pie cut system and some 70 hrs of work and its moto GP loud which sounds just amazing.

In the rear the CNC milled subframe was machined and created from two parts which were then welded together and polished to give that mirror finish. This bike was built to be ridden so retains the Ohlins rear shock and adjustable Ducabike linkage and upgraded rear sets to give a more racing riding position.

With the modified exhaust the engine was also tuned and now puts out a whopping 220bhp so it's no garage queen.

If I hadn't read the blurb I wouldn't think that was a modified bike at all. Just looks like they've taken the fairing off to do some work and been out for a quick spin to check stuff.

How bizarre is this, he just sold his camper to someone who sold their car to buy it. Kicker is they won the car they sold in a competition! Comp Currency is a thing!

Conor McGregors Urus, well its not his now, but it used to be. Not sure that adds any allure to it for me? But, with a £175k cash alternative, i'll risk 3 x 99p tickets!
