Very oddly is right.

I rode one from time to time... along with the BMW (no)Funduro it was the most horrible bike I've ever ridden and that includes a CZ175.

Where to start?

It was often difficult to start

When it did, it vibrated like a trip hammer

The overall gearing had been raised so that the original dirt bike gearbox ratios no longer matched - you had to rev the thing into the red line (see trip hammer) before a change up if you wanted the bike to hang onto the speed, otherwise it was simply changed down again as the bike slowed down

The forks twisted under modest braking

The projector main beam was the worst light since the 6v 25w headlight on my brother's FS1E, unfortunately the dip wasn't much better

The finest quality Italian paint and chrome were falling off after a couple of months

It's a shame because I really looked forward to riding it. Generally speaking I love singles... but it wasn't a patch on my XBR500 or even my NX650.
