Fri. MTB with @crust and a beer
Sat. Hever castle.. errrrm i dunno either
Sun. MTBing with the boy then driving to Wales
Mon. Dyfi bike park riding MTBs with the boy... sort of.. we'll be at the same place

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
Nothing other than boring stuff is planned. Wiring both outside lights to the same switch is the highlight.
Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
Working in the London office today, but getting a flyer as I'm off to see Pendulum in Brum tonight.
No real plans for the weekend, especially given the weather. Bit of fettling to refit the KTM brake lever guard without it fouling the throttle. Bit of tidying maybe. Might see if I can test drive a Defender...

No plans beyond servicing and fitting some bits to the Harley.
Hopefully something will come to mind as I've taken next week off too.

Weather looks shite all weekend, my back is still giving me gyp and to top it off Mrs M has brought home child Ebola from work and we're both feeling rotten so not a lot. First Easter off in years and its wasted

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
I finished yesterday and not due back until Monday week.
Today, decorating.
Tomorrow, finishing decorating then out for dinner in the evening.
Saturday, supposed to be looking at new flooring, but as its BHW I think i'll pass on that. Over to In-Laws to give f-i-l his birthday presents.
Sunday, we have family over for Easter drinks and snacks. Wife wants to do a roast lamb dinner, but there's too many coming and it gets stressful, so i've put the kibosh on that.
Monday packing the camper as were away for a few days to Oxfordshire. Weathers going to be shite and i wish we could cancel but we're meeting people and they're keen to still go and my wife doesn't want to let them down, which actually means she'll make a shopping trip out of it! Oh well, i know where us blokes will be whilst the ladies are shopping...

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
Kitchen fitting almost finished!
Dishwasher to plumb in and then mount a door on, washer needs the door mounting, got one facia to fit to a cupboard and a few handles left to do. Barely half a days work... Which means something will go wrong and it'll take four days to do.

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
I’ll spend most of the next few days doing a sungod dance, or something!! Bloody weather
I’ve stayed with friends near Bath the last couple of nights. My god daughter is picking me up in an hour or so to go to her house. Out for dinner tonight
Tomorrow we’re heading to the wedding venue where my SDad is meeting me cos he’s coming to the wedding too. I have to take a bit of time tomorrow to make a halter strap for the dress I made as it currently does not feel ‘safe’ with no straps . Then a family dinner at the hotel tomorrow night
Saturday - please universe, make Saturday sunny!! My god daughter’s wedding day. I was there when she was born and am quite honoured that she really wanted me at the wedding
We’re starting the day getting ready girls together - but her mum (one of my bestest friends) is basically an alcohol pusher and I’ve suffered at her hands before . I’ve warned my SDad
Sunday - short recovery, then SDad is driving me to Wells to see some old friends (one of them had a bad bike accident back in August) and staying over at one of their houses
Monday, got to work out a lift or a bus to go see friends I’ve not seen in about 15 years - bbq and staying over
Then Tuesday find a bus to Street to go stay with my mum. And Weds she’ll drive me halfway to Weymouth and we’ll
Meet SDad for lunch then I’ll go to Weymouth
Thursday I get an early bus to Heathrow to get an afternoon flight back to Lyon. I’d say I’m going home for a rest but it’ll be manic till next Tuesday
I need a car - much less stress to drive over and back!!

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
Just had 8 packs of flooring delivered, so take a guess.....
Mind, I'm out for a few beers tonight with a couple of mates and I've invited one of the blokes from the gym along as he seems like a good laugh and I think he'll get along my friends.
Friday, another coat of paint in the rooms and then we can get on with laying the flooring in both.
Saturday we're out with friends, going up town to The Ned to one of the restaurants in there. Should be nice.
Sunday - No idea. More DIY, no doubt.
Monday - Ditto. Need to get it done.

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
Got today off, already done the grocery shop, done some domestics and walked the dog.
A friend up the road has just bought his first bike (a 2005 Bonnie) and I'm giving him a lift up to Swindon to pick it up later. The poor bugger chose the wrong day as its fucking awful weather here! Hope he doesn't get put off by the experience!
Rest of the weekend is local. off to the farm to pick up some beef tomorrow and then hoping for some dry weather...
have a good one all

This week has been nuts. The GF's kids have been throwing up since 1am on Monday. I was on A&E for 12 hours yesterday (gallstones they think). I need an easy weekend. Although I should celebrate my younger boy's birthday.

Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
Well, it's going to rain here
Am tomorrow - early doors watch at Coastwatch, Later on - not sure but in will involve walking the dog. Possibly past a pub
Sat - Both of us covering an RNLI open day - after that not sure
Sunday - another CW session - but as it is shit weather ho hum, who cares.
Whilst that all sound dull, we have had Stepson , wife and two grandkids for the last 4 days whilst their house is slowly getting rebuilt. And it has been interesting ...

The second doctor I saw (they were both proper hotties) gave me some pretty wacky pills.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 9:58 pmSounds like you need to get down the K-Hole.MyLittleStudPony wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 9:56 pm This week has been nuts. Re: Friday (Thursday) thread the Easter one.
S'funny how things work out. I didn't even pick up a paint brush, but I did finish the faux panelling her Ladyship wanted. Forgot I had to take f-i-l to Chelmsford for cataract assessment, so lost best part of a morning over there. Then I considered the old folks ages and realised one or more of them might not even be here next year, so went out and bought a brisket and leg of lamb and am now prepping veg for huge Easter Sunday roast.Taipan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 10:07 am I finished yesterday and not due back until Monday week.
