Long service award is anything up to a value of £500 max and I haven't got a clue what to buy? I have all the tools I want. Bought a new lid and jacket last year. Errr....
Any ides?

Drugs and hookers!
I'd buy an Arai Quantic or a Tour-X5, but you mention you've already bought a lid.

Its just gonna end up in the loft anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah, or MB wallet/credit card holder, notebook holder etc. Their leather stuff is quite nice.Potter wrote: Wed Mar 27, 2024 8:31 pm
If it has to be an actual asset then maybe a nice Mont Blanc pen?

Something physical or it gets taxed apparently. TBH I take the family out and on holiday anyway, so that wouldn't really work. Hmmm, holiday... wonder if could get a tui voucher or such like. Could bag a weeked in seville or soemthing then?Potter wrote: Wed Mar 27, 2024 8:31 pm Do they give you the money or do you have to choose a physical asset and they pay?
If you get the cash then I’d pay for as many of my family to attend a big Sunday dinner at a local pub. We do it a couple of times a year, about fifteen of us all go for a basic pub dinner and it’s cracking, we pick up the tab.

A weekend break or two with the missus. Ferry tickets for the camper.

A tattoo of a cock and balls on your arse and back, each of your buttocks is tattooed as a hairy bollock and then the erect cock is tattooed up your spine.

Spend it on learning something new. You will have a gift that will keep on giving and you can share it too.
