Looks v pleasant.
Any clues as to where it is? It looks like it should one of those photogenic destination places.

It's Bridgnorth in sunny Shropshire - 20 mins up the roadCount Steer wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2024 5:19 pmLooks v pleasant.

It's very picturesque - old market hall building, cliffs with caves, Severn Valley Railway, cliff railway, etc, etc.
Gets heaving with tourists in the summer months, but it's surrounded by some lush roads

Are you trying to pre-empt as many 'your bike with ___ ' challenges as possible?

I managed to get out for a local spin whilst waiting for the paint to dry.The back roads around here are covered in mud & gravel so I ride to the conditions..

It's been lovely around here - roads were still 50% damp until around 11am but apart from that it's been great, even the farming detritus seems to have largely disappeared!Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 4:31 pm The back roads around here are covered in mud & gravel so I ride to the conditions..
Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
After a week in the city of lights for work I needed an escape to some green and pleasant countryside, stopping at Bosworth Battlefield for a quick photo opportunity.
Then a bumble over to the Triumph Factory for a coffee and another photo.
Finally a slow bounce along some green lanes with big puddles where I discovered that Velcro fasting for my number plate is not up to anything rougher than tarmac.
Even though i retraced my steps no luck finding the missing plate so it was a bit of a dodgy ride home waiting to get pulled and a fine, luckily i managed to get back without further drama.

The A442 north to Telford, or south to Kidderminster is good fun, or take the A458 as far as Morville and bear left onto the B4368 to Craven Arms, one of my favourite stretches of road.Sunny wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2024 5:22 pmIt's Bridgnorth in sunny Shropshire - 20 mins up the roadCount Steer wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2024 5:19 pmLooks v pleasant.

We don't see many police any more and I haven't seen a walking one for years.

My 'quick triangle' is A454/A442/B4176, when I don't have a lot of time but want a quick blast after work, or to bed in new tyres, etc.
For some reason I've not done the A442 south much - I might create a new loop down there and round Enville way.
My second ever ride out on the KTM involved the B4368, unsurprisingly enough

Nope. It's locally known as the Banshee Towers,or the Turrets. Between Carrick and Ballycarry.
