I didn't pay enough attention....I thought it was the reception area in an office.

Any more info? It looks a bit like one of Guy Hands themed meeting rooms at Terra Firma...only they're slightly more subtle in the oozing money stakes.Horse wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:21 pmMy first look was WTF is that? What a stupid thing to do with any car, but those things are as ugly as sin as well!

Re: utterly random picture thread.
According to the article the car weighs "800 pounds", so they must have taken all the engine, gearbox etc out. That'd be a very sensible thing to do with a car you're going to hang on it's side anyway.
May as well just have a sculpture of one. S'not really a car any more.

TBH I'd rather have a wall with pictures on between the lounge and the bedroom. I don't particularly want to wake up looking at the underside of a motor vehicle.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 9:04 am According to the article the car weighs "800 pounds", so they must have taken all the engine, gearbox etc out. Just adds to the money and taste can be mutually exclusive idea. I imagine the bed has black satin sheets on.

Money seems to arrive in all manner of unworthy corners, and plainly many of the recipients have no clue as to what might constitute a worthwhile use for it.

Nah. At Portimao in October, the rear tyre was getting worked so hard, the rubber was forming into balls which moved to edge of tyre and thrown off.
The force was so strong that they implanted onto the seat unit despite the stupid wind speed.
This pic (today) doesn't quite do it justice as most have flown off

Re: utterly random picture thread.
The cover story in the Q1 edition of Spears (a magazine for the HNW/UHNW) is about "How the rich and famous fell for Miami", including Jeff Bezos who bought a $79m pad on Indian Creek Island.
So as Mr D points out, that's the unworthy corner this year.
It's a sobering read, well, I say sobering, more like frightening, I'm all for making a pound note but the excess on display is troublesome (to anyone with a soul) when there are people literally starving to death.

Pretty much the whole point of having money is the person with the money decides what is a useful or "worthwhile" use for it., not some tosser on a motorbike forum.

How much did your latest watch cost you? How many hungry people could that have fed?
