But that's how companies work isn't it... You try and grow the company, make more money, then more... You can't expect anything less.

What i'm curious about is to whether CRC/Wiggle were actually losing money or was it the fault of the parent companies ?

Not looking good, liquidator appointed.

Just taken a punt on some Troy Lee shorts and a Castelli top (paid by CC so hopefully some protection). Over 70% off.

Mrs SSS and I have been grabbing a few bargains.

Sorry to see CRC go and been using them for decades.

When CRC posted the 'Final Send' i thought it was going to wrap up very shortly after that.

They're just basically selling everything they can now. Which makes sense i guess.

I've not bought anything even in the bargains as i'm quite fussy and the potential for returns etc isn't ideal. So just not worth risking it for me.

There seems to be a fair amount of tat / obscure / things you never knew you needed left ....
And lots of "small" sizes

 I bought a road bike mounted pump for £1.49

As to the small sizes, thats great for me, as im a size small. Got 2 winter long sleeve cycling jerseys for £8 each (reduced from £45).

If they dont fit - which they should - for that price not worth the hassle to return. They'll fit someone we know.

Mrs SSS has bought longs, shorts, jackets etc and only one item doesn't fit, but it was only £12

Ordered a few pairs of Neutron pedals yesterday figuring they'd come in handy. They've not been dispatched yet.

Will have to wait & see.

I think 'soon' may be a very relative term. But either way it won't be CRC.

I don't really get what Ashley has actually bought in truth. He's not bought the stock, so just bought the name ... But it doesn't make sense as to what/why.

I'll miss CRC, and Wiggle. Also felt a bit odd seeing their account on ebay for shifting returns & clearance stuff winding down.
