DO you dream ? At night etc..
I dream, active dreams, dreams i can recall in great detail, every single night.
Last nights was comical as Flicker was in it driving a tractor, crashing into haybales down some country lane. In the end he fell off the tractor but was saved as he fell on a haybale
But very vivid dreams are common for me
Mrs Weeksy can't actually recall the last time she had a dream.

I only ever seem to dream about being late for work and mundane shit like that
Maybe it's a sign of a lack of imagination.

If I wake up an hour before the alarm and then kind of nap again until it goes off I'll have some bonkers dreams.
But I don't recall any of my dreams from proper deep sleep.
Mot of my dreams seem to be about finding a toilet.

I sometimes notice when I'm falling asleep - my thoughts go surreal and another part, sat watching, says "Hey, you're going off to sleep!" - and wakes me up and that's really annoying

I dream, fucking odd dreams, I can't remember them very well afterwards or describe them, but they're really odd and I wake up feeling weird - I once dreamt that I'd murdered my father and the dream felt so realistic it was about lunchtime before I realised I hadn't murdered him, I've also dreamt I've hidden random bodies places, mostly the house I grew up in, wtf is going on in my head when I sleep.

I'm another one with horrible dark dreams. Not always, but too often and they don't seem to be related to my general mood.
More fun is interpreting dreams, some of the ancient one are crackingly bizarre. Dream of anchovies? All your teeth will fall out.

Do any of you realise you're dreaming when you're dreaming?
It's happened to me three or four times this year, I'm in the dream thinking "This is stupid, it's a dream, wake up" and I wake up.
I'm 71 years old and it's never happened to me until this year.

Yup. Sadly it's usually when something exciting is about to happen.

ISTR if you dont have REM sleep and dream you go proper batshit. Even if you don't remember your dreams you must be having them, assuming you're not in hospital.
But then again, I could be remembering that fact from an episode of Star Trek.

No, because I'd dreamt that I'd murdered him some years ago, I did think about going to the Police Station to turn myself in, but then I remembered that the old twat was still alive.Horse wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 12:01 pmSo did you spend all morning hiding from the police?Julian_Boolean wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 11:48 amI once dreamt that I'd murdered my father and the dream felt so realistic it was about lunchtime before I realised I hadn't

Re: DO you dream ? At night etc..
Most nights, very, very rarely I'll remember what was going on when I wake up - normally happens if it's vivid and dramatic enough to wake me up suddenly, but I'll forget it all within 5 minutes.
Sometimes I find myself in the dream trying to shout something, or trying to move quickly and I can't, it's like my voice has gone, or I'm suddenly disabled and trapped in my body.... that tends to be the times I'll wake up sweating and realise it was all a dream. Obviously in the dream I'm trying to do something: shout/run, but my actual body isn't moving because it's 'turned off' during sleep, and that restriction of movement is somehow getting into the dream-state and being noticed.

Anyone else sleep walk apart from me?
Though it sounds like a dangerous mixture, dreaming of murdering people and sleep walking, the worst I've done is when I lived in a flat is slept walked out of my flat into the common hall area naked, my female neighbour was quite surprised.

Twice in recent weeks, Mrs Weeksy has stood up, opened the curtain, closed it again, got back into bed.
If she does it again i'm setting her on fire in the garden on the grounds she's a witch.
