JK Rowling has apparently been reported to the police because she misgendered some trans news reader (by the trans news reader themselves).
Now, you can paint a cow with black and white stripes, but it will never be a zebra. If you want to play dress up, or take it to extremes, to feel happier about yourself, that's your choice and none of my concern. If, however you insist to me that you're a woman and try to dictate which pronouns I can use , I'll be asking to see some ovaries and a birth certificate.
I don't have any ovaries.
Or a scar where they whipped them out!

Mrs. G dropped me down to our local high street where parking is strictly verboten, so that I could pop into a shop quickly. I came out and saw she had turned the car around and had stopped at some lights. I ran to the car and jumped in to find her laughing. When I asked why, she said that my running has turned into that old-man style of run, where there is increased body movement but no increase in speed. She actually told me that all I needed was a pair of Hush Puppies and one of those beige jackets all old men seem to have....

The Council Tax bill just landed. Biggest increase? The Police and Crime Commissioner's office. Probably needs a bigger light to call Batman. :?

(Not sure that commissioning crime is a good idea anyway).

I considered making 'beige' the dress code for my 60th birthday get-together.

But on reflection that, of my friends:
- two have died
- one has gone almost blind
- two have dementia
- two need buggies to get around (one as a result of a car crash)

... decided that drawing too much attention to aging might not be kind.

So we had a hog roast and drinks instead :)

Self important knobheads. Took some pals on a 4WD tour a couple of days ago and they were filming a pop video at one of my favourite spots.
Straight away some nobber comes over and tells us we can't take pics of the girl.
I told him to fuck off and we all took loads just to piss him off. Then took a pic of the crew which sent him ballistic. Twat.

Meeeja, innit?

They do such important work that us little people can barely comprehend it.

Truly world changing.

Edit. And I'd have been tempted to get my Speedos on and hang around in the background, just to piss 'em off.

Any time the word 'Fayre' is used to denote a trade event, usually with the word 'Wedding' or 'Bride's' before it.

When you have to change your long-anticipated plans to take friends out for an anniversary lunch are kippered by engineering works stopping us getting the train from Orpington to Tunbridge Wells.

We cancel restaurants, finds an alternative up town and then look to see that the engineering works continue halfway to bloody London.

Piss poor planning on my part.....

You could use the replacement bus service and go on a magical mystery tour, just don't pay for any bookings in advance.
