It's an old purchase, but now mine
The missus was clearing the top floor and decided that we don't need this speaker up there.
So it's now in the man cave

Based upon a post I saw on here, I bought a book. This is how it showed up:

My (Barbadian) mate Garry used to always have this stuff and i used to be able to get it in Tesco etc, but haven't seen it in local supermarkets for years. God knows why I just thought about it, but checked Amazon and lo and behold its on there!

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Bought a new off-road lid - I've not had a new mx one for ten years or so & I'm blown away by how much they've improved.
I swear I've had heavier bicycle helmets.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Not today (obvs, it's 7am) but Saturday, a nice pair of comfy and quite smart (could happily stroll about in public in 'em), Dewalt steel toecap safety boots. (Toecap is actually aluminium alloy).
They're rather well made (removable insole/arch support etc) and half the price of comparable hiking boots. Made in China, of course.
(Got some paving slabs to shift).

One of those Knox armoured undershirts. I'd often thought one might come in handy and finally bought one.
It's ace. Really pleased with it. Although I've not tested it as such it seems very well made.

Same, It's the 'every jacket's a bike jacket' that I like above all.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
Yes; I've got two bike jackets - as soon as I got the Knox Action shirt I took all the (not particularly wonderful) body armour out of both of them and just rely on the Knox shirt for protective gear now, underneath the outer jacket(s).
In France I use one of their Urbane Pro shirts. It has additional abrasion resistance over the Action shirts and can be used on its own. It's ventilated, but tough and has enough stretch. It's made a world of difference to my riding in hot weather.
