Could do with a bit of Southern Hemisphere blue sky right now!

Have you ridden Queen Charlotte's Drive from Havelock to Picton?

At least I got the right island - even the right country, given the world to choose from.👍

Yes.
Rode it the same Day.
Must have been at least 8 Roadworks on what should have been a 45 minute ride.
A couple of the works we were stationary for at least 10 minutes
We took the longer, yet quicker option on return
There have been several journeys where you think wow. Shall we do that again. We don’t. I know what “doing it again “ means. It usually ends in tears.

Yes - too long ago now, tho. Ridden most of S Island, except the Invercargill/Dunedin area, and halfway up N Island. to Taupo. Still have the top half to do - don't know if we'll manage that now, as Mrs W has developed hip/ shoulder issues which make pillioning awkward. Bah.

I'd happily have stopped twice to do the return ride down that road... it's like a sideways-on roller coaster! One of the funnest roads I've ever ridden. I've a video somewhere!

Nah, the bestest road so far has to be the stretch for 15ks north of Motueka on the South Island. Brand newish smooth tarmac as well.
Running in at a close 2nd is Saddle road between Woodville and Ashhurst. N Island.

Dragged out the Zed today, but it was a waste of time. The roads were either damp or covered in muck,so the short run = hours of cleaning. That'll teach me.

A fine, cold and salt free morning. Well glad of the heated gear! Shitty rain and snow in the forecast,so good to get out.

I've not been out on the bike for a couple of weeks,so I grabbed the opportunity earlier. The roads around here are still covered in mud, lots of puddles & potholes but good fun in the dry.

It's the first time I've got out on the bike since it's 12k service, happy to say all's good, now I'm just waiting for the better weather

Rode up to find where the MX circuit is for tomorrow's event, off of the road to Novelda. Typically no signs anywhere, and not where I expected it to be! Think it is going to be a bit dusty racing tomorrow.

Weather lovely, not seen rain for a while now, nor a pot hole come to think of it.
