White for the fairing might be nice. Might look more 'finished' or factory. Fart about in photoshop to compare.

White done with cheap duct tape to see what it looks like

Been for a short ride and it's much nicer to ride with the fairing

White all day long. The black looks like it's waiting to be painted white.

Use it as an opportunity to repaint the whole bike in urban digi camo!

With pink decals.

Definitely white, looks more balanced.

Rather than paint it, try wrapping it, easily reversible if you change your mind.

I was thinking of wrapping it, it's not too difficult a shape and I can split the halves with a silver stripe like the tank.
I'm not sure that paint would stick to the plastic, it's not very thick, so it flexs a little and I think paint would flake off.

TBH I tend to agree, but the bike is much nicer to ride with it on, it no longer feels like I'm clinging on at over 80, it makes the bike sensible for longer rides. It's takes 15 minutes to remove so I'm not too bothered by the fact that it doesn't look good.

But it's definitely going to end up white, and I'll probably make a different lower screen for it.
